Recently, our friends at Toyota North America came out to help at our warehouse. They sorted produce and saved 2,009 lbs of fresh fruits and veggies to distribute to our neighbors in just a few short hours! We're so thankful for the generous support of groups like Toyota for their help in the fight against hunger. #Fighthunger

Huge thanks to Aunt Millie's Bakeries for their generous donation of 2,500 loaves of bread! This was a part of Aunt Millie's Holiday Giving program, where they distribute thousands of loaves of bread all across the Midwest each holiday season. We're so grateful for the support of organizations like Aunt Millies, who help provide nourishing food for our neighbors.

Director of Department for People here at Zingermans Community of Businesses, Veretta T. Nix, is also the Board Chair for Food Gatherer's! When asked "why Food Gatherer's?" Veretta shares, “I was raised to believe that I have a responsibility to contribute in positive ways to support my communities and fellow citizens. Food Gatherers provides healthy food choices to people in need, demonstrates care and respect, and supports the health of our community." We are super proud of Veretta and Food Gatherers. Addressing food insecurity in Washtenaw county is one of our primary charitable cause in the ZCoB. Please consider donating during the Rockin' for the Hungry Campaign.

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, food insecurity is on high in Washtenaw County. Eileen Spring is president and CEO of Food Gatherers, and she says, since the pandemic, the demand for food assistance has skyrocketed and continues to go up. What is being done to address this glaring community need? Part of the solution also provides some rather amazing environmental benefits. Eileen joined 89.1 WEMU-FM's David Fair for a discussion on dealing with food insecurity and how food rescue also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. https://lnkd.in/et8kYzKS

We love having Domino's at the warehouse for volunteer shifts! We are so grateful to have their ongoing support and enthusiasm for fighting hunger.
This afternoon, team members from Domino's communications department volunteered at Food Gatherers, a food rescue organization and very important neighbor to the communities around our HQ. It was a humbling experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my colleagues in this way. Visit feedingamerica.org to find your local food bank and support their efforts to address food insecurity in your own backyard. #lifeatDominos

Thank you to the great NETSCOUT crew for volunteering at the warehouse!
Shoutout to our Ann Arbor Guardians for spending the day at Food Gatherers! Together, they processed 4,000 lbs of fresh food. Volunteering isn’t just giving back—it’s building stronger communities. #NETSCOUTlife #GivingBack #Volunteering

We are sending our thanks out today to the scout troops in Washtenaw County and Jason, who coordinated the annual Scouting for Food campaign. With more troops involved this year than every before, these dedicated young people brought in more than 4,900 pounds of food that will help #FightHunger here in the community. Impressive! Thanks to all who donated!
