Many hands make light work, and with this large volunteer group in our warehouse last week, Luke Family of Brands was able to do just that! Together, they packed a total of 360 bags for our homeless, along with 107 boxes for our Commodity Supplemental Food Program that provides monthly groceries to seniors ages 60 and older. “We’re in the grocery industry, and we feed people,” said Moore. "We must reach out to the community, especially those who are underprivileged. The community supports us every day, every year. This event is about the people and addressing food shortages and meals. We feel it’s important to give back.” SVT.LLC Jeffrey Strack Hy-Vee, Inc. Food Bank of Northwest Indiana

We'd like to extend a HUGE thank you to Indiana American Water and the American Water Charitable Foundation for selecting the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana as the recipient of these funds! This contribution is a tremendous investment in our community and will translate into approximately 60,000 meals for our neighbors in need. Partners like American Water help move the needle on food insecurity. #FightFoodInsecurity #ServingNWI
