We've been a bit silent about our content plans for the next Fintech Retreat and DeFi Retreat. That's why I am excited to share this Big Announcement! 🔥🔥🔥 We will be hosting an intimate, off-the-record Fireside Chat with Tigran Gambaryan and WIRED's Andy Greenberg! This is one of the most anticipated conversations we've hosted at our intimate gatherings in the past years. Tigran Gambaryan - is a veteran in crypto investigations, he led some of the most significant cases in the industry's history, including investigations into the Mt. Gox hack and helped bring down Silk Road. Recently, Tigran has been the Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Binance and has been named in the CoinDesk's Most Influential 2024 list. Andy Greenberg - A senior writer for WIRED, Andy has been at the forefront of crypto journalism for over a decade. Tigran is one of the main characters of his book "Tracers in the Dark" which has been acclaimed for its detailed exploration of the most significant crypto investigations. I feel deeply honored to have both Tigran and Andy join us. We're also planning something special involving both of them, but about this, a bit later. As a reminder, the next edition of the retreats will take place side by side in San Francisco's Presidio Forest, at the Golden Gate Club. If you are interested in joining the group, you can find more information in comments!

Great morning session today as part of the Inaugural meeting of the The Financial Club members and special guests in DC. I had the pleasure of moderating 2 sessions: - The Future of Money Resilience with Dante A. Disparte, Michael B. Greenwald and Carole House - AI and the Acceleration of Finance with Neha Narkhede and Kyle Hauptman I would like to thank all our guests for joining us and for providing raw insights on stablecoins, AI, banking, and how the private sector organizations are leading the charge to safeguard and create a more resilient US Dollar. We're excited to bring our signature format for intimate conversations to the US capital and the Club has a very unique strategy that will complement all the existing discussions between private and gov sectors in a special way. More to be shared soon! I am really grateful to everyone that supported us with the launch in DC: - Jeremy Sheridan and FTI Consulting for offering their incredible Penthouse for the meeting. - Michael B. Greenwald and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for offering lunch - Commissioner Karima Woods from District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) for joining us and for sharing a thoughtful welcome message. - Tamara Zeidan for taking the pics! Thank you for all the members that came from DC and especially to those that traveled from NYC, Chicago, Salt Lake City and Silicon Valley to attend our lunch in DC! Really looking forward to seeing our members at the evening networking event hosted with Andrew Sotak, CPA and Ankura!
