Felician University students and faculty were competitively selected to present their research at the annual Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) 2024 Annual Conference, Protecting the Future: Champions for Higher Education, which took place in Philadelphia, PA, from December 11-13, 2024. Dr. Gaby Fahmy and three of our incredible biology students attended the BioNJ Inspiring Women in STEM Conference, a day celebrating innovation, mentorship, and the achievements of women in STEM fields. A special highlight was meeting Alison Fragale, Ph.D., who shared invaluable insights and her groundbreaking work. The Psychology Department and Counseling Center teamed up to host three inspiring workshops on mental health! Students, faculty, and staff explored their creativity by painting affirmation canvases that remind us all of the power of positive thinking. Special thanks to Dr. Amy Dombach from the Psychology Department for leading this initiative, and Jazmin, our incredible Psychology Honors student, for delivering such a meaningful program. Even Justine Taddeo, Admin Assistant of the School of Arts and Sciences & STEM Center, dropped by to join the fun and painted alongside the class!
