HDA’s Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC) recently held an in-person training session for individuals and their respective companies working toward a Good Distribution Practice (GDP) accreditation. This was the GDP’s first “Responsible Person” training event, with eleven students participating. The Falvey Insurance Group in Rhode Island sponsored the training event and provided the venue. Special thanks to Falvey’s CEO and Chairman of the Board, Mike Falvey and Eric Newman, EVP of Claims, Loss Prevention and Recoveries, for their support and hospitality. Since the GDP program was announced, DeSpir Logistics, LLC has received accreditation and numerous companies participating in the assessment process are soon to be accredited.
