That's a wrap on our 31st annual food drive to support the Hunger Task Force in the fight against hunger! And what a year it was; not only did we reach an amazing cumulative milestone of $500,000+ in donations, we also set yet another record with $45,802 this year, WOW!! Congratulations to Tara Withington, CAE! At the recent @wisconsin-society-of-association-executives-official Summit, Tara was awarded the 2024 Hall of Fame Award. The award recognizes an individual who demonstrates involvement and commitment to the association management field on a continuous basis and Tara exemplifies this. After serving many nonprofit organizations at the grassroots, local, state, and regional levels, Tara joined EDI in 1998 and became an EDI principal in 2003. She currently serves as consulting partner to ten of EDI’s clients in addition to her role as Vice President of EDI.

We kicked off our 31st annual food drive benefiting the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee with breakfast this morning and Bingo this afternoon. Last year the EDI staff, friends, and family raised over $44,000 bringing our 30 year total to a whopping $473,500. This year we hope to break half of a million dollars! If you find yourself feeling generous this holiday season, please join us in giving back to our community. As the weather gets colder, EDI looks to support its community who may not be able to easily escape the cold. EDI employees made blankets last month to donate to the Hope House, a long-term housing facility and community center. Thank you to EDI leadership for providing all the blanket materials to help families in need in our community! #communityservice
