We pray everyone found joy and love in yesterday’s celebration of Jesus' birthday! Christmas is far more than the twinkling lights, festive songs, and cherished traditions. It’s a sacred reminder of the greatest Gift we could ever receive—the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Through Him, we have the promise of eternal life, the gift of grace, and the unending love of God. In a world often distracted by material things, Christmas calls us to pause and reflect on the miraculous story of Jesus’ humble arrival. Born in a manger, the King of Kings came to bring hope, peace, and salvation to a world in need. His birth fulfilled centuries of prophecy and set into motion God’s perfect plan of redemption for all humankind. As you carry the joy of this season into ALL the days ahead, may you hold close the true meaning of Christmas: that Jesus is God’s ultimate gift to us, sharing the Light of Jesus with others, extending His love through our words, actions, and hearts. “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” —2 Corinthians 9:15 May the story of Christ’s birth inspire you to live in His love, and may His gift fill you with hope and peace today and always. Steve Nooyen considers his professional life to be divided between “ministries in disguise as for profits”, and “ministries in disguise as non-profits”. This is a result of setting up his organizational flow chart with God as the CEO with the core purpose "to teach others about love(v)". In 1997 at the age of 30 Steve founded We Care Senior Care which operates fifteen franchises within the Home Instead franchise system. They provide non-medical in-home care services for the elderly. His company has over 1200 employees and is the largest of more than 600 North American Home Instead franchise groups. In 2016 Steve and Kristi started Wheelchair Whitetails which provides hunting opportunities for people with disabilities. Hunts are conducted on their 500+ acre property in northern WI at no cost to the participants. Their hunts have attracted wheelchair bound individuals from across the United States and Canada. In 2020 Steve and Kristi partnered with Challenge The Outdoors to establish a wheelchair accessible fishing destination for people with disabilities. Peter’s Pond recently opened this summer in Shawano County near Angelica. Please join us on Tuesday, October 22 to hear Steve talk about "What Do Healthcare, Hunting, and Business Have in Common? MINISTRY! Go to www.eilgroup.org/events to learn more and register! And please share this post with others! #ministry #healthcare #nonprofits #PetersPond #WheelchairWhitetails
