With six kids and a husband who works two jobs, feeding everyone in the Heinz household can be a challenge. Nicole Heinz's kids receive Every Meal food bags, and she humbly shares a part of her story in an interview with KSTP to help other families not be ashamed to ask for help. "My kiddos brought home a bag, and that just made life easier knowing I wasn't alone," she shared. No one has to do this alone. "I just want people to know that it's okay to ask for help. It's okay to struggle and ask for help at the same time." We had a blast today at our Pack It Forward event presented by Thrivent, church and college groups, and mall visitors. We brought our food and packing equipment right to the Mall of America Huntington Bank rotunda and packed weekend food bags for kids in Minnesota. We’re so grateful for all involved to make this happen and bring some cheer this holiday season.
