As 2024 draws to a close, sports streamers are contemplating their strategies for world domination 2025. In my view, this needs to include doubling down on Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) fan engagement. Why? Competition for viewership continues to grow and subscription fatigue is all too real. Building a closer digital relationship with fans allows sports streamers to create hyper-personalized, flexible, and fan-first experiences.
