Another beautiful event organised by Ecoescuelas 🌳 This time at Eurocolegio Casvi Boadilla in Madrid 🙌🏼 In an inspiring day of climate action, 6th-grade students from Casvi Boadilla School actively participated in the European Tree Planting Day by planting native species suitable for their school grounds and surroundings. The activity not only consisted of planting trees but also learning previously about the environment, how to take care of it and how their actions can contribute to mitigating climate change. To ensure the traceability of the planted trees, students also used the Life Terra platform to tag each tree planted. Great job! 🙌🏼🌳

Another successful event was held by Stepping Stone Forests in Ireland at the St Ciaran's National School 🌳💚 Every child and teacher got an opportunity to participate where they planted native Irish species to support the widest range of biodiversity possible. The event also counted on the participation of the local community and their sponsor #AWSiNCommunities. Although the terrain was a bit muddy, the weather was kind and allowed for a wonderful day 🌱🎉

Highlights from a Wonderful Planting Event organised by Ecoescuelas! 🌱 In Cabanillas del Campo, the day began with a municipal worker preparing the planting holes at the designated site. Throughout the morning, different classes took turns planting shrubs, with each educational level adopting a "durillo" to care for and monitor its growth. 🌳✨ The event was attended by representatives from the local council and families from the school’s Environmental Committee. The children fully embraced the activity, showcasing their enthusiasm and commitment to protecting the environment. 💚 #eutreeplantingday

🌿✨ What a day! Organised by Stepping Stone Forest, a group of enthusiastic students, joined by amazing volunteers from Dodder Action, Bank of Ireland, and Turner & Townsend, planted 600 native trees and shrubs plus 44 ground cover plants in just two hours! 🌱💪 Despite the chilly weather, spirits were high, and the effort paid off beautifully. The day wrapped up with well-deserved tea, coffee, and sandwiches in the staff room, perfect for warming up after a job well done. ☕🥪 #eutreeplantingday
