A huge thank you to everyone who participated in last week's Capture the Flag event - we couldn't be more excited to share the results! From Dec 9-13, 2024, EnterpriseKC (EKC), Kansas State Department of Education, and Wichita State University hosted a statewide virtual Capture the Flag (CTF) competition on Cloud Underground's platform. The event brought together 163 students across 54 teams from 11 schools. The Shawnee Mission School District’s Center for Academic Achievement (SMSD CAA) stood out, with five teams placing in the top 10. Notably, their freshmen impressed with their exceptional talent and individual high scores. Eisenhower High School and Dodge City High School also delivered strong performances, securing multiple top placements! This event highlighted the importance of early cybersecurity education.
