Meet the #FacesofTourism! In this series, we highlight individuals who make Louisiana a tourist destination for many and contribute to the $1.9 billion revenue-generating industry. Today, we’re proud to feature Marcus Brown, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Entergy Corporation and Chairman of the New Orleans Super Bowl LIX Host Committee. As the state’s largest investor-owned utility, Entergy directly supports the many restaurants, hotels and businesses driving Louisiana’s economy. Brown leads a team committed to advancing Entergy’s sustainable business practices that integrate environmental, social, governance and economic objectives and concerns. Among his accomplishments, he helped create a program that significantly increased the pro bono commitment of Entergy’s legal team and also established the first full-time, in-house pro bono counsel role among Fortune 500 companies. Brown holds a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where he was a member of the Law Review, an MBA from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree from Southern University A&M College. As chair of the New Orleans Super Bowl LIX Host Committee, he serves as a vital link between the city, the state, the Saints, and the NFL. His work with the Super Bowl and Entergy reflects his dedication to building strong, vibrant communities across Louisiana. We’re grateful for individuals like Marcus Brown who drive progress and help Louisiana’s tourism industry thrive! Entergy New Orleans & Company New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee
