Emerge is proud to earn the official designation as an Ohio Recovery Friendly Workplace. “The new Ohio Recovery Friendly Workplace program has the power to transform lives by offering meaningful work for people looking to get back on their feet and by providing additional support systems for current employees,” said Governor DeWine. “I’m calling on all Ohio businesses to implement recovery-friendly practices and earn this designation today. Together, we can reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and addiction, while making our people, our economy, and our communities all stronger.” To register your organization, visit: https://lnkd.in/g-NYdHzc Follow our Progress/Give Hope: https://lnkd.in/ggYXcGhG #emergetogether #recovery #recoveryispossible #community Christian Rattin Adam McKibbin Philip DiYanni Brittini Long Terry F. We are honored to share a recent funding award, partnering with OneOhio Recovery Foundation to expand access to transportation for those seeking to rebuild their lives!! Thanks to OneOhio Recovery Foundation for investing in Recovery on Wheels. These resources will help us build a stronger, healthier community. Recovery on Wheels will offer transportation access to substance use treatment for up to 38 men residing at Emerge Springs Recovery Housing, located in Yellow Springs, as well as individuals seeking treatment outside this group. Residents in recovery housing will have transportation each morning and evening for a variety of services. Depending on what level of care someone is in at any given time, there will be routes to morning partial hospitalization groups and intensive outpatient programming. Additionally, some individuals may be in other standard outpatient groups such as aftercare or anger management. There are other services on the Emerge campus that transportation will be provided for as well, including The Trades Institute, an accredited trades school and GED certifications through the Miami Valley Career Technology Center. Anytime an individual wants to attend treatment or other services outside of Emerge, the transportation will be available. Lastly, other services are provided either on the Emerge campus or outside in the community. Some of these services or supports include support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, church services, health appointments, Job and Family Services, and more. NEW PROGRAM UPDATE! Emerge is excited to share that we are starting faith-based programming on Monday, November 4th. Our desire is to provide a new path to recovery (complementing our established traditional 12-Step pathway) that is clinically-sound and integrates Christian faith and practices. In recognition of our DNA as a faith-based organization, we are driven to doing recovery different. We believe this will be a powerful way we will help rebuild lives and restore hope to those we serve. Led by Casey Steckling LSW, LCDCIII, he shares, “I am excited to be a part of something new that isn’t really being done anywhere else. This is a big reason why I came to work at Emerge: to use the transformational message of the Gospel to help people recover and live the abundant life Jesus talks about.” Please share our GOOD NEWS! #faith #hope #love #recovery: emergerecoverytrade.com Rachel Huffman Kenton Durham, SHRM-CP, CDCA, MFTT Alicia Cormier Philip DiYanni Terry F.
