Since 1920, Eisner Health has been a leading provider of medical, dental, OB/GYN, optometry, pharmacy, and behavioral health care as well as case management services to patients in Los Angeles County. As a non-profit, federally-qualified community health center (FQHC), we open our doors to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, insurance, or immigration status. With clinics in downtown LA, Lynwood, Panorama City, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys; a hospital based labor and delivery programs at California Hospital Medical Center-Dignity Health; and partnerships with schools in Los Angeles, we provided care to over 40,000 patients a year. Gutierrez-McCarthy has served as the organization’s Interim CEO since March and brings over 15 years of experience in community health leadership to her new role. Since joining Eisner Health in February 2021 as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Monica has been instrumental in advancing the organization's mission and operational excellence. She has spearheaded initiatives that have strengthened service delivery, expanded access to care, and improved health outcomes for patients across the region. With her appointment as CEO, Gutierrez-McCarthy is successfully poised to build upon Eisner Health’s 104-year history of care and innovation.
