Their inspiring story was shared at our 2024 Eden Savers Graduation, where 50 residents were celebrated for completing this life-changing program. 💰 Through Eden Savers, residents work with #volunteer financial coaches to save money, reduce debt, and create budgets—all while improving their financial confidence. The 2024 participants came from 28 #EdenHousing properties all over the Bay Area and down as far as Mission Viejo and San Diego in Southern California. 🌟 Interested in making an impact? This initiative involves rehabilitating 200 one- and two-bedroom units across six buildings, with a focus on enhancing accessibility and modernizing living spaces. This transformative development will bring 124 affordable homes, a new 41,000 sq. ft. library, commercial tenant space, and a childcare facility to downtown Santa Cruz. 🏡📚 We’re proud to partner with the City of Santa Cruz and For The Future Housing on this visionary project. This year, Technology Programs at Eden Housing, Inc. have taken significant strides to bridge the digital gap and uplift the community. By providing free technology classes in multiple languages like Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, and English, we have impacted hundreds of residents across all age groups. Looking forward to 2025, we are thrilled about the upcoming initiatives. Our goal remains to ensure every resident is equipped and connected for success in the digital age. Our upcoming plans involve the distribution of more laptops and tablets, expanding our course offerings, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and easily accessible learning environment. We extend our gratitude to all supporters who have been part of this journey. Here's to a future where technology empowers every individual in our community!

With colder and more unpredictable weather upon us, the importance of our mission becomes even clearer. Our work - helping others find safe spaces to live and thrive - demands a great deal of dedication and heart, and we couldn't do it without all of you. 🏗️ 22 years in the making… and it’s FINALLY happening! We ended 2024 on a high note by breaking ground on Legacy Court in Richmond with our incredible partners at Community Housing Development Corporation! This long-awaited development will bring 42 affordable homes to low-income households, including 13 units for residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness and those in need of mental health services. It’s been a journey, but milestones like this remind us why we do what we do. 🏆 Blue Oak Landing takes the Gold! We’re thrilled to share that #EdenHousing’s Blue Oak Landing has been awarded Best Development & Design: Affordable – Gold at Multi-Housing News’ 18th annual Excellence Awards! This is the 5th award Blue Oak Landing has received this year, and we couldn’t be prouder. The community is located just north of downtown Vallejo and offers 74 affordable homes for households earning 20-40% of the area median income.
