The question of whether generative AI is a curse or a blessing has been on my mind for a long time. I am therefore happy to report that I succesfully completed the Generative AI for Productivity Course at eCornell with Karan Girotra and Frank Pasquale. After the course, I still don't have a definitive answer to my initial question, but I have learned that: - a) it is up to us and only us how we use this powerful tool - b) AI is there to support human decision-making, not to replace it - c) this discipline as well as most others, can only be mastered with a lot of practice This program taught me how to harness generative AI to enhance individual and group productivity and drive innovation in our rapidly evolving digital landscape. I thank Karan Girotra, Frank Pasquale, Mohamed Mneimneh, PhD and Thomas Jannett very much for their credible and well-founded knowledge transfer. After 2005 and 2011 this is now my 3rd continuing education program and my 7th certificate @Cornell University and i am sure it won‘t be my last! I am really looking forward to rolling up my sleeves to change the world by cleverly bringing man and machine together in hospitality and real estate. #ecornellstories
