The world is on the brink of collapse. Climate disasters, wars, conflicts, and hatred are tearing humanity apart. The countdown has begun and we have no time to waste. Will we succumb to the inevitable doom, or will we unite and build a new, safe future?
Emergency backpack for a crisis situation
1. A travel backpack.
It should be chosen according to your age, weight, and height. Make sure to pack clothing, including winter clothes. Add a sleeping bag and a sleeping mat.
Everything should be packed in waterproof bags!
2. Documents and cash.
Prepare cash in small bills, sealed in waterproof bags.
Also, include personal information here: your full name, blood type, your phone numbers, and those of your close ones. Add a map of the area.
3. Chargers.
Charged power banks, phone chargers, a flashlight, and batteries.
4. Signaling devices.
For example, a whistle, which can be used to signal that you're alive.
5. Matches, lighters, or a fire starter.
6. First aid kit.
It should contain antiseptics and medications for basic first aid. Pain relievers. Hygiene products.
We recommend taking a first aid course!
7. Tools.
Rope, knife, multitool, duct tape, and a travel sewing kit.
8. Large garbage bags (240 L).
These bags (2–3 pieces) can also serve as an improvised tent, sleeping bag, or rain shelter.
9. Water and food.
A water filter for purification and disinfection. A bottle or canteen of water. Freeze-dried food, energy bars, chocolate.

Wildfires in Greece
In 2024, Greece faced unprecedented wildfires: over 9,500, which destroyed approximately 44,500 hectares of land.
Despite a 14% decrease in the area devastated, thanks to the effective work of firefighters, the 7.5% increase in the number of fires compared to the average over the last 20 years highlights the worsening climate crisis.
Wildfires, droughts, and floods are becoming regular threats to the country.
A significant fact is that one-third of the fires occurred outside the traditional high-risk season (May-October), indicating the need to reconsider current approaches to risk management.
The fires in 2023 were particularly devastating, as a blaze in the northeastern part of the country destroyed over 174,000 hectares in 11 days—an area larger than New York City. This was the largest wildfire ever recorded in Europe.
These events demand urgent action. The climate crisis is not a single-state problem but a global issue.
Therefore, every individual must contribute to uniting humanity's scientific potential into a single research center focused on addressing climate-related problems as soon as possible.
Today, we truly need one another. If we support the initiative for unity, humanity will have a chance to stabilize the climate situation.

Challenge for Agriculture and Ecosystems
Romania, like many other countries in the European Union, faces a serious threat of desertification.
Drought, soil degradation, and deforestation are jeopardizing not only agricultural production but also the sustainability of local ecosystems. This issue is particularly acute in the Oltenia region, where farmers witness the wind carrying away dry soil, reminiscent of Saharan sandstorms.
According to available data, roughly one-third of the country’s territory is at risk of drought, ranging from mild to extreme levels.
Climate change exacerbates the situation: prolonged droughts alternate with torrential rains, which cause further damage to the soil.
Extreme weather events have already harmed key crops, such as wheat and sunflower, posing economic losses and increasing dependence on food imports.
Experts like Mircea Sevastel warn that Romania will face even more severe heat stress in the future. This necessitates urgent measures, including the introduction of modern agricultural technologies, reforestation, and international cooperation.
🆘 The climate crisis is a global problem that requires the unification of scientific efforts. Establishing a unique center for studying and addressing climate change-related issues could represent a crucial step toward a sustainable future for all countries, including Romania.
WEATHER AND NATURE ANOMALIES
SHOCKING! Another extraordinary incident in the air.
A Pegasus Airlines passenger plane, flying from Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Istanbul-Mersin route, narrowly avoided crashing nearly three times.
Due to severe weather conditions, the aircraft faced the risk of crashing on three separate occasions. Panic broke out among the passengers on board. The flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Erkilet Airport in Kayseri.
Medical personnel provided emergency care to the passengers.
However, many passengers remain in shock as they were unable to reach their destination. They reported that authorities told them, “You’ll have to find your own way from here.”
Cataclysms are on the rise, and Earth's magnetic field is undergoing abnormal changes. Scientists have warned that air travel is becoming increasingly dangerous.
Isn't it time to act and demand the creation of a massive public initiative to unite humanity's scientific potential into a single research center to urgently address climate issues?
CLIMATE PRESENTS THE BILL
In 2024, the number of natural disasters, such as typhoons, floods, and landslides, reached such a scale that the Red Cross insurance was activated for the first time.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) confirmed that compensation payouts impacted 1.5 million people affected by disasters, including victims of floods in Nigeria and landslides in Nepal.
Florent Del Pinto, head of the Disaster Response Emergency Fund, told Reuters in an interview.
"What's worrying is that this year's needs have been so unprecedented that we have hit the trigger set at a relatively high level," he said.
Typhoon "Yagi," which struck Asia in September 2024, became a key event that activated the world's first insurance policy for the humanitarian sector. This policy, developed in collaboration with the brokerage firm Aon, came into effect when the cumulative costs of disaster response exceeded the threshold of 33 million Swiss francs (37.84 million USD).
The total insurance payout amounted to 7 million Swiss francs, providing significant support to the poorest countries affected by climate disasters.
Amid escalating catastrophes, the Red Cross is actively seeking innovative solutions.
Del Pinto emphasized that insurance products could play a crucial role in humanitarian expenditures:
"We are in this situation in which humanitarian needs are growing almost exponentially while funding is stable so we need to explore innovative financing in order to address the funding gap and respond to human suffering," he said.
Natural disasters are becoming part of a new reality. Their increasing frequency signals humanity not only to forecast risks but also to actively work on preventing ecological and climate crises.
To achieve this, humanity's entire scientific potential must be united into a single scientific center to accelerate solutions to climate issues.
Maryna Ovtsynova: Human Lives Are at Stake in Climate Crisis
In an interview with the AnewZ channel on COP29, ALLATRA President Maryna Ovtsynova spoke about the need for international cooperation in addressing the climate issue. She also raised the importance of human life. Everything will change if we start looking at climate disasters in terms of loss of human life instead of economic loss.

The areas of Spain with the highest risk of flooding have been published.
Floods in various parts of the country, especially in the provinces of Valencia and Albacete, are predicted by experts to recur in the future and occur with greater frequency and intensity due to climate change.
The Ministry of Environmental Transition and Demographic Affairs estimates that Spain has about 21,125 kilometers of delineated flood zones and that this number will increase to 27,385 kilometers.
A statement by the College of Geologists (https://lnkd.in/e2Jm66rG) notes that 2,733,000 inhabitants live in flood zones. The Guadalquivir, Segura and Júcar are most at risk.
"This data does not include the inland basins of Catalonia, the coast of Galicia, the southern basins of Andalusia or the archipelagos, so if all the flood zones were mapped, it would cover 5 million people, that is 10% of the Spanish population,"— points out Manuel Regueiro.
The Dotgis study shows that the Valencian Community is the region most at risk of flooding. It also identifies the ten provinces most likely to be affected.
This fact shows the need to create a Single Science Center to address climate issues worldwide.
