How do you build a company culture around safety? You must focus on what you can control first. If you plant corn or any other seedlings, for that matter, and you just dump water on it, it's not going to grow. It’s the same thing with building your safety culture. We plant the seed, give a little bit of water at a time. Start slow, sit back, be very objective, think, "What do we control?" We can control if we put on a safety vest when we are on the job site. Start with the things that you can control. If you do, then over time, it's going to build; you will build the foundation. Our CEO Joshua Steven Gamez aways says "Focus on what you can control, not on what you can't." Years of little changes turned into massive impact for not only our company, but also setting the standard for the industry. What little things can you control? #theindustrysfinest #safetyfirst #quality #peoplefirst #safety #culture #ceo

This morning, it was announced that Josiah Gámez has been appointed to a new role as Director of National Fleet and Logistics (DNFL). This Home Office-based position is designed to support the growing needs of our company as we continue our expansion into strategic markets across the country. The DNFL role will oversee all aspects of capital planning, the full fleet life cycle, heavy repairs, planned refurbishment programs, inter-company training, fleet safety, and the implementation of master preventative maintenance programs. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient management and sustainability of our fleet as we continue to grow. Josiah has grown up in the family business, working closely with his father, Joshua, and learning every aspect of the company, from sales and operations to financial management strategies. With hands-on experience in many of the company’s service centers across the country, Josiah has developed a unique perspective on varying climates, service lines, and market needs. He is a Class A CDL driver, and has over a decade of real-world operations experience, with a heavy concentration in industrial snow removal. About East Coast Facilities, Inc. The company, owned by the Gámez family, was formed in 2015 to provide a full-service facility maintenance solution to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. Our rapid expansion is the result of a well-thought-out business plan, decades of industry experience, and professional relationships built on trust and value. East Coast Facilities works with some of the nation’s largest corporations, commercial real-estate management firms, developers, and large institutional clients in strategic markets with a heavy focus on critical infrastructure environments. The company currently provides services to over 20 states.

Burnout isn't a badge of honor. It's a sign that you're betraying your own values. Realign your work with your purpose and watch your energy soar. True productivity flows from passion, not pressure. #worklifebalance #purposedriven #sustainablesuccess

We’re clearing the way for businesses to thrive, for communities to stay connected, and for life to go on as it should. That’s our motivation. What’s yours? #snowlimit #snowremoval #winterwarriors #communitystrong #motivation

This is my 2024 open letter to my front-line workforce and middle management. The letter was distributed to all Service Centers and read in up to three translations: English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. All front-line workers were issued annual bonuses based on role, performance, and tenure. It was the largest distribution of cash ECF has ever made for annual bonuses. My goal is to keep growing that number as we continue to build the most formidable business in our industry, one that puts front-line workers first. It is our time!
