This is to thank one of the FARMERHOOD charity initiative volunteering partners – FEODAL. FEODAL is a Ukrainian based leading land audit company, specialized in landbank monitoring and information from the State Registers. FEODAL also provides farmers with the farm management systems helping to control field operations and costs, allowing farmers and local communities to manage farming business and land issues efficiently, and to minimize the carbon footprint whilst using resources sustainably. With the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine and due to heavy pollution of agricultural land with the residues of missiles and bombs, FEODAL launched its military.feodal initiative aiming to help farmers to get the de-diming of the fields, as well as consulting farmers on de-mining procedures, life security and health safety in the current circumstances. This was FEODAL who back in 2022 joined our volunteering group and developed an on-line platform for the FARMERHOOD charity initiative. This platform not only allows Ukrainian small farmers impacted by war to submit their applications for help, but also this softwear being connected to the State Registers allows FARMERHOOD team to check the eligibility of the applying farm: - size of the farm – land area leased or owned by each farm, - location of the farm – GPS – de-occupied area or 50 km zone from the front-line, - date of registration before the beginning of the full-scale war – 24/02/2022, - farming as a main business activities, - bankruptcy and legal proceedings, etc. This system makes the FARMERHOOD platform comprehensive and transparent for the donors and helps to pass successfully all the compliance audits as sometimes required by the institutional donors. The overall contribution of the FEODAL into the FARMERHOOD project is hard to overestimate. And we thank all the teams of the FEODAL for their volunteering partnership and support of our project.
