We help agencies go to market | Agency Design | Offer Crafting

I'm not sure I've heard someone say, "You know what we need? Another community." But I don't care. I'm launching one anyway. I think the reason communities are starting to get a bad rep is because of the focus everyone puts on content. "We have 54 posts a day." It's not enough. Content is free. And can be found everywhere. People rarely pay for content these days. What people want more of is 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. ✔️ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 to people with common interests, working towards a common goal. ✔️ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 to experts who have solutions to your woes. ✔️ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 to the peace of mind that comes from knowing you're not the only one with that daunting dilemma. So, I've launched the Dynamic Agency OS Community with access in mind. I'm bringing together coaches, experts, and agency owners in one spot, so we can get the hardest questions answered. I've made the price INCREDIBLY affordable for founding members. The goal isn't to get rich; it's to provide an accessible location for agencies to access the resources and answers they need to thrive. The link is in the comments. DM me any questions. #agency #community

Most businesses get their offer hooks wrong. So, I created a framework to ensure I'm capturing everything that needs to be there. I call it the 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. It captures all of the details you need for a punchy dream outcome in the headline. Create a headline and then run it through a check of these criteria: 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲: Does it focus on what the client wants most, not just needs? 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰: Does it feel achievable and is backed by proof or credibility? 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁: Does it tap into deeper motivations and fears? 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: Does it inspire the client to envision a better future state? 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲: Does it include clear metrics or specific indicators of success? 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰: Does it clearly define the outcome in practical, tangible terms? If your headline captures all of these things (and you've done your homework to validate it), you've got a winning headline. This isn't to say you can fire and forget it. You should still test the headline once you have enough data, but if it fits the 6 criteria, you should be on track. If you want to check out the offer for yourself and join the waitlist, check out the link in the comments. Nick Bennett and I will be building this live, and you can take part in choosing some of the bonuses we're throwing in. If you want to include influencer marketing in your GTM strategy, this is the offer for you. #offerbuilding #GTM

Books are great, but they could be screwing you over. I call it 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲. This occurs when your bookshelf grows, but your actions stay the same. You’ve read the advice, highlighted the quotes, even nodded along in agreement...but nothing changes. The issue is that learning without deliberate action keeps you stuck. (I guess technically, it's not the books screwing you over.) We get these awesome dopamine hits when reading because it feels productive. Every page turn is another hit. The problem is that we become addicted to the act of reading the books, not turning them into business value. I'm not the first to notice this, but recently, I realized how much I used to do that. At some point, this lesson clicked, and I'd cured myself. I'm currently reading The Experience Economy. It took me two weeks to get through the intro because I'd read a paragraph and think of multiple things I could do with my business. I'd spend the rest of my leisure time note-taking, and the next morning, I'd action everything on my list. I'm still not finished with the book, but I've applied at least ten things to my business that people have noticed and praised. One action even locked in a client. Had I waited to finish reading, I probably wouldn't have had these results. I'd be overwhelmed with the list or excited to get into the next book. I see this happen with agency owners I chat with A LOT. They thank me for a book recommendation (which I made because I know it'll help the EXACT problem they're working through) only they fail to take action. Reading the book checked a box in their head, but their business stayed the same. So, my challenge for you: Pick up the book you're currently reading and choose one action you could RIGHT NOW to test out what you're learning. Go apply it. Don't keep reading until you do. Then move on. Business books often get a bad reputation. And while I can't vouch for all books, I think a large issue is how we're reading and applying that information. Even if a book only gives you one worthwhile tip, $20 for a lesson that could help your agency is probably worth it. Don't let 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 hold you back in 2025. What books do you recommend everyone should read? #agency #growth PS - This post is brought to you by the Dynamic Agency Newsletter. Lots of positive replies from this one, so I figured I'd share with the greater audience. There’s a difference between plans and planning. The plan is a product. It’s nothing more than documentation, so everyone is aligned and moving in the right direction. A plan is based on a set point in time. Planning is a process. It’s the act of discussing and evaluating options. It requires knowledge of variables and situational awareness of the environment. Planning can be ongoing, but at some point, we have to put pen to paper and “finalize” the plan. There’s no sugarcoating this: planning is hard. If you’re doing it right, it’ll take time and a lot of mental calories. We spend months upon months learning this in the Army. And unless I’m mistaken, there’s no clear path for learning to plan for agency owners. So, agency experts and leaders, what are your tips for annual planning? #planning #agency

I don’t mean to brag… But I was one of the original members of Exit Five. You know, back when it was DGMG. It’s been awesome to see the company grow from the outside. From moving platforms to adding thousands of members to now hosting their first live event. If you’re an agency owner, you NEED to be in Exit Five. Why? For so many reasons. ✅ You’ll get better at marketing by learning from others. ✅ You can contribute to the discussion, demonstrating your expertise (with people who can hire you). ✅ You’ll hear about the actual struggles of CMOs and marketers that can inform your offers. Grow skills. Build your brand. Research the market. And you can write off your membership fee! #taxtip (Not that $30/month will leave a dent in your annual income.) I’m pumped to see their logo at the top of the sponsorships for 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥-𝐈𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 again. I’m equally pumped to see what else Dave and the team are cooking up. Start your trial of Exit Five today. The link is in the comments. #marketing #exitfive #allinagencysummit PS - Pro-Tip for agencies: Don't join communities to promote yourself. Join to provide value. It'll serve you better, I promise.

Every agency founder should have go-to sources of learning. Here’s my list of podcasts I’m constantly returning to. Shouldn’t be a surprise that all of them (minus Agency Forward since it still has a new podcast smell) are top 3% podcasts or better. That’s no small feat. You should definitely give them a listen. In no particular order: ⇢ Agency Life by Teamwork.com Logan Lyles is one of my favorite interviewers. He’ll restate what guests are explaining in such a way that it reinforces the lessons and makes them more actionable. I’m trying to emulate that in my own interviewing. I’ve yet to listen to an episode where I haven’t needed to pause and take notes. ⇢ The Agency Profit Podcast by Parakeeto Marcel Petitpas is one of those guys who blows my mind every time I listen to him present something. Getting to hear him interview other experts is no different. Episodes are packed with tips around, you guessed it, improving profitability and operational efficiency. ⇢ Agency Journey by ZenPilot Gray MacKenzie got me hooked on the podcast years ago. Now Jakub Grajcar brings the energy as the new host. While I enjoy the guest interviews, I’ve been loving Kuba's interviews with Gray. ZenPilot has a lot of value to offer agencies, and getting the inside scoop for how they think about agency operations is awesome. ⇢ Build a Better Agency Drew McLellan hosts an awesome show, full of interview and solocasts with tons of actionable insights for agency owners. If you’re looking to grow your agency without making yourself miserable in the process, Drew has the goods. ⇢ Catalytic Leadership I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone as genuinely a great person as 🎙️William C. Attaway. The fact that he also understands agency leadership and is a great interviewer only makes me like him more. This is a great show to listen to if you want to maximize your potential as an agency founder and leader. ⇢ Agency Forward Self-promotion, yada yada. I love my own podcast because I get to talk to people with the inside scoop on what’ll help agencies in the future. It’s no secret that tech, AI, and market saturation are changing the playing field. I’m seeking guests who can help agency founders get ahead of it. If you know someone who I should have on, drop me a DM. Do you have any podcasts for agencies that others should listen to? #agency #podcast
