We are absolutely thrilled to announce our involvement in @bergenbrooklyn , which was just featured in the New York Times! We served as the Master Planner of the 400-foot long development, and collaborated Patrick Cullina on the Landscape Design. Working alongside Frida Escobedo, Workstead and Avdoo & Partners Development has been an amazing opportunity, and we cannot wait to share more about this project. #masterplanning #landscapearchitecture #horticulture #boerumhill #brooklynarchitecture #amenitydesign #nycarchitecture #designmatters #architecturematters

Architecture and Planning
DXA Studio is a NYC architecture firm whose work strikes a balance between technology and craft, modern and historic.
About us
DXA Studio is a New York City-based architecture firm whose work masterfully and consistently strikes a balance between seemingly opposing forces. DXA Studio’s projects combine the art with the science of architecture, design innovation with technical excellence, contemporary considerations with a sense of craft, and a modern outlook with a respect for history and context. The firm was founded in 2011 by Jordan Rogove and Wayne Norbeck, with a focus on authenticity, sustainability and originality in all projects and a belief in the power of architecture to positively influence the lives of all that engage with it. Whether a competition-winning scheme for a new Midtown viaduct, multifamily projects in New York City, a passive house in Brooklyn, or several pro-bono projects including a project to fight malaria in Namibia and a new housing prototype for HIV/AIDS patients in Haiti, DXA Studio has always endeavored to create work that hews to these values and that makes the designed environment better and more dignified at all scales and typologies. The firm’s expertise spans a wide array of project types, including multi-family and single-family residential, commercial, education/institutional and hospitality. No matter the specific building, the firm’s response never comes from a set of a priori assumptions. Projects always begin with an open exchange of ideas, along with a thorough investigation of the complexities and context of the site. In-depth research and analysis happen throughout the design process to identify opportunities to push boundaries and integrate technological advances in building materials, construction, and sustainable strategies. From this process, the site, program and unique possibilities of each project are explored and designs of distinctive identity, clarity, and ingenuity are created.

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Director of Quality Control, Hyejin Oh, will be speaking at Advancing Construction's upcoming "Advancing Design Quality Management Conference 2024". She will be giving insight to how firms can develop integrated training programs to help all employees learn and maintain knowledge during all phases of architecture projects. If you are in attendance, come say hi! #advancingdesignquality #advancingconstruction #mcp #stafftraining #buildingcodes #architecturematters #designmatters
