This year, Campus Ministry at Neumann University has been a hub of faith, service, and leadership. As the year draws to a close, we’re proud to share some of the highlights that shaped our community:
Empowering Leadership
We welcomed back five Community Peer Ministers, trained in the spirit of St. Clare of Assisi, whose leadership continues to inspire collaboration and service.
A Growing Choir
Our choir took an exciting step forward, welcoming new members and strengthening its role in our liturgical celebrations.
Renewed Participation in Liturgy
We’re seeing more and more students returning to liturgy, enriching our communal worship and spiritual life.
Building Community
Our work-study student leaders played a vital role in developing a vibrant and welcoming environment in the Ministry Center.
Mission in Action
During Mission Week, we held our annual Blessing of the Animals, volunteered at St. Francis Inn, and showcased Franciscan values across campus.
Justice and Advocacy
We returned to the Franciscan Justice Leadership Conference, with student interns focused on integrating Franciscan values into the voting process. Students came away empowered and ready to advocate for change.
Staying True to Synod Efforts
We remain committed to fostering dialogue and discernment in line with the ongoing synod efforts, ensuring our ministry reflects the voices and needs of the community.
Welcoming New Seekers
Our new OCIA program has begun, and we’re journeying with seven participants as they explore and deepen their faith.
Faith-Filled Celebrations
We celebrated key moments like the Mass of the Holy Spirit, the Feast of St. Francis, and our cherished Greccio Live Nativity.
As we look back on a year filled with blessings, we are grateful for the incredible students, staff, and faculty who make this ministry thrive.
Our prayers are with you for a blessed Advent season and a Merry Christmas!
