Totally agreed, even there are some pages that doesn't own a software house even virtually, still they are offering internships. And the way of collecting up resumes is so weird, that will just add reach to their page. Like who on the earth ask to comment something on post to give the internships... How you can give internship by asking to share this post.... Or wesay hi hamray students, they just see a post with the ke words "Internship" and jump into that post blindly, without any kind of investigation at all. For God sake guys, kindly take a minute before falling into this trap to investigate if they are really can offer internships, if they are really working in the market as a software house, if they really hire someone before, if not plzz stay away from the post..
"Ever thought about paying to work for free? Some internships think you should." A great trend it is, now a days, I have been seeing a lot of startups that haven't even established themselves, along with certain companies that have no physical existence or that only exist in the virtual space that are offering Unpaid Internships at large. These so-called internships target individuals who have just started working on specific technologies, luring them in with the promise of experience and, more importantly, a certificate. However, the reality is far from what is promised. They assign tasks that are meaningless and disconnected from real-world applications. Such as some companies require interns to complete arbitrary assignments, post videos on social media tagging the company to earn a certificate. These tasks are not only irrelevant but also serve no purpose other than to promote the company at the expense of the intern's time and effort. Having personally explored these internships to understand their operations, I have found that many of these companies impose timelines for completing these pointless tasks. Some even go as far as charging interns for a certificate at the end of their 'experience.' This is pure exploitation, preying on the ambitions of those who are eager to get advance in their careers. The Greed for Certification The driving force behind these unpaid useless internships is the greed of certificate. Many Induvial are led to believe that that having an internship certificate is an achievement that will open doors for them. However, they fail to realize that a certificate from an unrecognized company holds little to no value in the eyes of an HR, where you are applying for the next job, How hard is it for someone to look into company you have previously worked for. I can't even say the word "worked for" or "worked in". The solution Here are three alternative paths you should seriously consider: 1. Build a Portfolio: Instead of wasting time on tasks that don't contribute to your growth, invest that time in building a portfolio that showcases your skills. 2. Join a Reputable Fellowship: If you have a solid foundation in your field, look for fellowships offered by reputable organizations. Fellowships provide real-world experience and involve projects that can significantly enhance your portfolio. 3. Focus on Skills, Not Certificates: "A single piece of paper cannot decide my fate,". A certificate from an unknown entity will not land you a job or advance your career. Instead, concentrate on your skills, as these are what employers truly value. After you've built a strong portfolio, you'll be in a much better position to apply for a job or a paid internship with a reputable organization. Final Thoughts Focus on learning, building, and growing on your own terms. Your future self will thank you for it. Read full article at: https://lnkd.in/dURqeEiH
