This week, several teams from DonorConnect came together to make the season a little brighter for local families in need. We had the privilege of volunteering at the UTAH CULTURAL CELEBRATION CENTER FOUNDATION, where we helped wrap gifts for close to 300 children! Each wrapped present represents a moment of happiness, a spark of hope, and a reminder of the power of community. We’re honored to support an initiative that brings smiles to so many during this special time of year. This holiday season, DonorConnect is grateful for the opportunity to give back to our marginalized communities. We partnered with the Utah Cultural Celebration Center West Valley Giving Tree, The Point Church, and the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake to gather gifts for seven children between the ages of 7 and 16. We are honored to support these incredible organizations and help make the holidays brighter for families in need. Last week, DonorConnect's public educators gained valuable insights into the vital role our transportation team plays in the organ, tissue, and eye recovery process. These incredible team members work 12-hour on-call shifts, ready at a moment’s notice to transport life-saving organs to medical teams across the nation. Their unwavering dedication and efficiency help save countless lives every year. Following the session, the educators enjoyed a festive holiday game and shared their top tips for teaching the community about the importance of organ, tissue, and eye donation.
