Earlier this month, our Director, Amanda Kwong, MPH, represented PHCC at a special 50-person convening of public health and vaccine equity partners on behalf of The White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy. This convening served as an opportunity to highlight the work of the national organizations, grassroots health coalitions, and other public health partners who supported more equitable access to and uptake of COVID-19, flu, and RSV vaccines over the past four years. It was an incredible opportunity for PHCC to share insights from our work, learn from our partners' innovative approaches, and recommit to advancing #HealthEquity in vaccine distribution and communication. ✨📸Following the White House visit, PHCC was invited to a #SciComms dinner hosted by Your Local Epidemiologist, Katelyn Jetelina. We are proud to stand alongside so many dedicated organizations working to protect communities and promote public health!

Community members have the deepest understanding of what is working, what needs to change, and what is desired in their communities. Their knowledge, lived experience, and wisdom needs to be valued as trusted evidence.
