  • If you ever needed to be convinced that internal combustion engine (ICE) and EV owners operate their vehicles differently, just look at how they use their OE-supported native mobile apps. ICE owners tend to use them for the basics: diagnostic alerts and the ever-popular remote start and unlock functions. EV owners use their apps differently, primarily using them for plug-and-charge integration to put all of their accounts for various EV charging providers in one place. J.D. Power releases an annual satisfaction study of apps for both ICEs and EVs and there's a significant gap in overall satisfaction. Can you guess which owners are happier with their apps? https://lnkd.in/eeag3DJK

  • dvLED displays have significant advantages over traditional LED screens, and our new demo unit showcases why: 💡 Brightness and contrast: Higher brightness and contrast makes dvLED screens visible even in direct sunlight. 🌈 Color range: A wider color range provides a more vibrant picture than legacy screen technologies. 👓 Resolution: Improved resolution, especially for large displays, provides a crisp picture. ⛓ Modularity: dvLEDs can be stacked, shaped and connected to create the necessary display size. If one module fails it can be easily replaced. 📅 Durability: dvLED screens can last up to 100,000 hours, or about 11 years. Projection lamps require replacements at around 5,000 hours. Laser projectors have a lifespan of about 25,000 hours. Our own Shaun Herda explains how we're educating our team:

Driving innovation and engagement through digital signage

As DvLED opportunities increase, it's important to have a way to educate your teams and clients of this technology. This week we installed a new DvLED demo unit that will be used to demonstrate how DvLED works, including how pixel pitch impacts the viewing experience. This unit will not only help onboard new team members on this technology, but allow us to help educate our clients as well. Thank you to our Hardware Engineer Kyle Anderson and to David Price from Avenue / Systems for helping us install this unit, which we are eager to put to use right away. #dvled #education #sales #training #alwayslearning #digitalsignage

  • All of us at DCI Marketing hope that you have an enjoyable Labor Day Weekend. This year, it's the 130th anniversary of Labor Day, after President Grover Cleveland signed a congressional act in 1894 to make it a federal holiday. The first Monday in September is also Labour Day just to our north in Canada. So Happy Labour Day to our Canadian friends and colleagues.
