When a third-party agency evaluated DfG’s work in Nepal, they found that access to menstrual health products creates more opportunities for women! 🌍✨ The study, conducted by Rural Senses, reported, “It is evident from the evaluation that the women have benefited significantly from DfG’s interventions. . . . they . . . value this [DfG Kit] as it provides privacy, cleanliness, and enables girls to go to school during menstruation." 💖📚 This holiday season, Celebrate Every Cycle with us! Your gift today helps women in Nepal and around the world access sustainable period products and education. 🎁🌸 https://lnkd.in/gAtAmfnw #DaysForGirls #CelebrateEveryCycle #MenstrualHealth #GlobalImpact #EmpowerWomen #PeriodPositivity

Last week, Miss Washington participated in a DfG distribution! Miss Washington, Hermona Girmay, joined DfG Advocacy Manager Jess Strait at the Central Kitsap Food Bank where they provided reusable period products and menstrual health education to community members who may have otherwise lacked access to period products. During the visit, Hermona helped distribute 60 DfG Kits, which included washable pads, menstrual cups, underwear, and educational booklets. She also packed Kits, learned about period poverty, and connected with the dedicated volunteers at the DfG Poulsbo WA Chapter. As an advocate for women’s education, type 1 diabetes awareness, and maternal health, Hermona’s commitment to making a difference is inspiring. She will proudly represent Washington at the upcoming Miss America competition in Florida. We are so grateful for Hermona’s passion for service and for shining a light on the importance of menstrual health. Together, we are breaking barriers and spreading dignity worldwide. At Days for Girls, we celebrate periods, and we celebrate YOU for helping us support women and girls with sustainable menstrual health solutions! Your generosity in response to our October petition to increase our humanitarian aid for girls in Lebanon was inspiring. Thanks to your efforts, we have already started reaching those affected by conflict. For example, last week in Lebanon, DfG Social Enterprise Leaders distributed washable menstrual pad Kits to girls and women displaced by conflict. When people can menstruate with dignity, it’s something worth celebrating! Thank YOU for helping to make this happen. This holiday season, 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 with us. Your gift today helps us reach more girls and communities in 2025! https://lnkd.in/gAtAmfnw #DaysForGirls #CelebrateEveryCycle #MenstrualEquity #PeriodPositivity #GlobalImpact #DignityForAll #SustainableSolutions #SupportWomen #EndPeriodPoverty
