✨ Rookie of the Year ✨ I’m incredibly honored and humbled to be named Rookie of the Year at David Hoffman Realty. This milestone means so much because the journey to get here was anything but easy. When Dorothy and I moved from Colorado to Charlotte, I didn’t know a single person. Starting over in a new city was intimidating, but I was determined to make it work. This past year, I poured everything I had into building my career—waking up before sunrise and working until midnight most days, doing whatever it took to get started. Some days that even meant driving Uber and Lyft to help make ends meet. Real estate is no easy path. It’s one of the only careers where you have to invest just to get started, and many agents go months (or even years) without closing a deal. The failure rate is over 90%—and even higher in commercial real estate. On top of that, going from two steady incomes to one added a lot of pressure. But I’m incredibly grateful for the people who supported me along the way. To my friends, family, and mentors—thank you for believing in me. And to Dorothy—you’ve been my rock through every high and low. Your trust and encouragement gave me the strength to keep pushing forward. I couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️ This year has been surreal. I’ve worked with amazing clients, submitted millions of dollars in offers, and learned so much from the incredible team at David Hoffman Realty. I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to grow in both residential and commercial real estate. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that taking a leap of faith is scary, but it can be life-changing.
