We are excited to have networked with people who do similar work and find ways to make data inclusive. That’s just one of the many success stories that came out of Data Day 2024. Hundreds of people gathered to connect with one another and empower each other to use data to inform their work. With an end of year donation, you too can help make data more inclusive by supporting critical events like Data Day. #DataYouCanUse DONATE 🎗️ https://rb.gy/9xpkd5

🍂 Goodbye Fall, Hello Winter! ❄️ It’s been a season of growth, learning, and unforgettable moments! 🚀 We kicked things off with our inspiring team retreat & dove deep into data dives 📊. The Data Day Decade 🎉 gave us a chance to celebrate our progress, while the trip to the White House 🏛️ was an experience of a lifetime! We embraced Tech Month with excitement and showcased our skills during the UWM Data Science Club presentation. Our in-house R Studio Workshop coding sessions 🖥️ were a huge hit, as we leveled up our skills together! We capped it all off with a festive holiday office extravaganza 🍽️ & engaging webinars. What a journey this Fall has been! Ready for the next chapter bring on the winter magic! ❄️✨ #GoodbyeFall #SeasonRecap #DataYouCanUse

This summer, MPS students gathered for a two-day workshop where they took on the role of data scientists to analyze data to create a Neighborhood Portrait for the Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood where the workshop took place. In addition to the personal growth these students experience throughout the workshop, the youth walked away with a tangible accomplishment - they are all credited as co-authors on the Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood Portrait that lives on the Data You Can Use website. - Betty Hill, MENTOR Greater Milwaukee SEE HERE📍[ https://rb.gy/c5c70v ] #NeighborhoodPortraits Encourage young people to make an impact in our community by getting enthusiastic and actively engaging with neighborhood data.
