    I watch this video every single week since it came out. Since March 3, 2020, I’ve been stacking days. 1751 days of putting in reps on this platform and trying to master the art of social selling. Many days, I wanted to quit. But I kept going. Even when people laughed. Yesterday I wrapped up my 11th LinkedIn and Social Selling Cohort and it felt so dang good. Officially surpassing 520 leaders coached in a calendar year, insane. By the end of this calendar I will hit 125K followers, which is wild to me. And, 2025 will be my banner year. For the first time, I will have an entire year working for just myself. Fully tapped in. I built for others, which I will always cherish. Now it’s time to build for me. On Jan 6, my next class launched. Half way sold out as of this week. I’d love to have ya in it, testimonials are down on my profile. Additionally, rocking some SKO’s - retainer clients - 1:1 coaching and maybe just maybe hosting some massive but tight knit in person events.     94,000,000 impressions with zero dollars of ad spend. That is the power of this place when you commit over 3 years. Those numbers above are how many times my content has been displayed on someone else’s feed. Impressions aren’t everything but for me, they are a huge data point when I dive deep into tracking and tracing new relationships and revenue. It’s taken me a long time. I could have taken short cuts. I could have implemented strategies that went against my way of doing work. But, I chose to put my head down, study and master the art of authentic storytelling. And it feel super comforting laying down at night knowing that I did this my way and now I can help others do the same, “their way.” Seeing my feed filled with people that have worked with me, yea that’s the good stuff. Seeing those same people hire for their team because of recent growth, yea that’s the good stuff. Seeing those same people raise series a rounds, yea that’s the good stuff. Seeing those same people celebrate massive 6 figure contract wins, yea that’s the good stuff. Seeing those same people transform their side business into their own personal ventures, yea that’s the good stuff. Seeing those same people generate more eyeballs than their entire marketing department, yea that’s the good stuff. Feeling like I’m right where I’m supposed to be. Transferring what I know to other people. P.S. - January cohort is filling up and 1:1 sessions are booked through end of January but have a few slots for February.

    Recommendations are the most underutilized feature on here. 4 more till I reach 100 which is still mind boggling to me. They go all the way back to when I was delivering mail in NYC. Recently they are full of leaders I’ve supported around LinkedIn strategy and Social Selling. In a couple hours, I will jump on a call with 54 humans from my December group. Truly can’t believe this is the 11th group since I was forced to launch these by a couple a good friends, “D. If you don’t charge people and teach them how to do what you do, you are essentially saying you do not care about the growth of your community. You aren’t leaving until you put it out to the world.” - those 3 dudes in Utah 11 darn months sold out. 500+ people coached, omg. And the January group will do the same here shortly. I’m right where I’m supposed to be. Transferring this knowledge to future generations of creators, founders, sellers and everyone in between.     4 1/2 years ago, I started writing on LinkedIn. I’ve been active EVERY SINGLE day since early 2020. This post is for anyone that is on the verge of committing to trying out this place or on the verge of quitting. I’m a college drop out, barely a high school graduate who grew up in a small town in Texas. I’m not supposed to be here, I was told I’d never amount to much of anything. No way 70,000,000 people would lay their eyes on my content. No way I’d bootstrap my own company and become a founder of Darren McKee Co. No way I’d become a VP of Sales at a startup and exit to one of our largest competitors. No way I’d speak in front of thousands of people. No way I’d 5X my income in 4 years. No way 124K people would click a button to follow me. No way I’d inspire others to build their personal brands. No way I’d travel around the world because people saw value in what I could deliver. No way I’d be recognized in public because of my online content. No way I’d speak to MBA students about their futures. No way I’d coach 500+ of leaders on how to create authentically. No way I’d sign a influencer deal with my favorite brand of all time. No way I’d be in rooms and share stages with people I admired for years prior. No way I’d be recognized as a top creator by multiple sources. No way I’d be able to pay for my kids schooling because of my writing. But. Because of a little grit, I’ve been able to do all of those things listed above. But today, I want to give back to you all. Thanks for being on this journey with me.
