It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since the Morphing Minds Hackathon with Aalto Startup Center 🤩 Our goal? To connect forward-thinking startups with creative, driven, and innovative students for an intense 48-hour challenge that brought fresh perspectives to their challenges. A huge thank you to the startups— Move, Mimiqit, VeryU, and Prateek Singh—for trusting us with your exciting challenges! 🚀 10 teams rose to the occasion, each one bringing a unique take on how to tackle the challenges. From fresh ideas to impressive pitches, the level of talent and creativity on display was nothing short of inspiring! After an initial round, 4 standout teams pitched their solutions once more, with Team Kim Chi (Jihae Kim & Chiao-Yun Chen) claiming the top prize for their work on Move’s challenge to increase user engagement 🏆 Huge congratulations to Jihae and Chiao-Yun again! 🎉👏 A special thank you to Jasmin el Kordy and Vishnu Aravind from IDBM Klubi for lending their invaluable mentorship during the hackathon. Your guidance, insights, and support were key to the experience 💜 And of course, an enormous thank you again to everyone involved—our partners, mentors, and volunteers. It was a great learning experience for the Dash team, and we’re ready to make the next event even bigger, better, and more impactful! 🌟

Mimiqit (📍Espoo): Motion tracking feedback app for dance enthusiasts. 🎤Zachary Burda Happy to see quite a few companies from Tampere making it to the Final, however we received applications also from Greater Helsinki (Helsinki, Espoo), Joensuu, Kuopio, Turku, and beyond. I've mentioned previously that our prize pool is fantastic this year - over €15,000 worth of services from HubSpot, Bob W., 46elks, EMU Growth Partners, Infobip, including a ticket to Slush! And there might be one more mind-blowing prize (trying to confirm it asap).
