Reality: I deliver toys once a year. LinkedIn: I optimize global supply chains for maximum joy. We’ve all met someone who turns "basic tasks" into "corporate masterpieces" on LinkedIn. But what about YOU? Here’s the thing: Your skills and impact are bigger than you think—you just need to tell the right story. Take Santa, for example: Reality: Kris Kringle delivers toys once a year. LinkedIn: Global Chief of Holiday Logistics | Naughty/Nice Data Analytics | Stakeholder Engagement The lesson? Positioning is everything. It’s not about inflating your skills. It’s about showcasing your true impact in a way that resonates. Here’s how you can create your own LinkedIn glow-up: 1. Reframe your role: Focus on outcomes, not job descriptions. 2. Highlight your value: What problem do you solve? 3. Inject personality: People connect with humans, not robots. Great leaders defend their people. They take the blame and pass on the praise. Look, management is tough. When you start out, it feels impossible to let go. You think, “If I don’t do it myself, it won’t be done right.” I’ve seen new managers say, “I trust my team,” but micromanage every detail. That’s not leadership. A real leader learns to step back and trust their team. And when things fall apart, it’s not your team’s fault — it’s on you. As a leader, you take the blame when things go wrong, even if it wasn’t directly your mistake. Your job isn’t just about getting results. It’s also to: 1. Let your team own their work, even if it’s messy. 2. Protect them from pointless stress. 3. Step in when things go off track. 4. Set clear goals and trust them to deliver. 5. Help them grow, not just hit deadlines. That’s how great leaders create more great leaders. Credit: Adam Graham

Finding the “perfect fit” for email marketing is one thing. Seeing it deliver results is another. After my last post, many of you shared your frustrations with overpriced email marketing platforms and lackluster support teams. Trust me—I’ve been there. When I was managing email campaigns for eCommerce businesses, I spent countless hours—sometimes days—struggling with clunky platforms that were overpriced and had support teams that might as well have been invisible. I’d hit send, cross my fingers, and hope something would stick. Spoiler: it rarely did. That’s why I want to emphasize this: Omnisend isn’t just easy to use or affordable—it’s built to deliver real results. Here’s what I mean: 💡 Save time with intuitive workflows that simplify even the most complex campaigns. 👥 Boost ROI by reaching the right customers with smart segmentation and automation. 📈 Stretch your budget further with scalable pricing that doesn't break the bank. Plus, they're constantly working on that new-new. (Their all-new reporting went LIVE last week for users!) For eCommerce brands, having a reliable email platform isn’t optional—it’s essential. And Omnisend has proven to be the solution for marketers and founders who want results without the headaches. I’m proud to be working with them. 📩 Curious to see how it could work for you? Running an agency and driving millions in revenue taught me many things, but one thing in particular… You can’t solve all your problems just by throwing money at it. 💸 Trust me. I’ve seen brands waste huge budgets on campaigns that look great but flop because they lacked one thing - emotional connection. Tracksuit gets it. Their Emotion Effect report breaks down why emotional connection isn’t just nice to have—without it, even the most high-end campaigns flop. Here’s what I’ve learned firsthand about avoiding the 7 deadly sins of emotionless advertising:👇 1. Greed: Throwing money at ads without a story. Big spend ≠ big impact. I’ve seen brands with half the budget crush competitors by nailing emotional storytelling. 2. Wrath: Screaming “BUY NOW!” in all caps doesn’t work. Adding surprise-and-delight elements boosted open rates (and revenue) in one campaign we ran. 3. Sloth: Short-term sales over long-term loyalty? Nope, it’s just lazy to only focus on quick wins. I’ve turned email lists into loyal communities by focusing on emotional connections. 4. Lust: Chasing immediate results. Only 5% of buyers are ready now—storytelling drives demand and builds positive brand associations for the other 95% so when they’re ready to buy, they come to you. 5. Pride: Features don’t sell—feelings do. We doubled conversions by focusing on customer stories over specs. 6. Gluttony: One ad does not rule them all. Stop using one creative for multiple objectives across the entire marketing funnel. 7. Envy: Copycats don’t win. Leaning into a brand’s unique identity has led to cult-like followings for my clients. Want the cheat code to emotional advertising? Tracksuit’s Emotion Effect Report has the evidence you need and a multitude of real life examples to back it up. Grab it here 👉 https://hubs.li/Q02Zh05D0
