For 37 years, DACAMERA has brought the highest caliber of artists to our community. We’re proud to commission new works from celebrated composers and feature compositions from our own Young Artist Program. Today, we’re highlighting Oliver Dubon, one of this season’s Young Artist composers. Oliver has composed for renowned artists like Grammy winner Nadia Shpachenko, Roomful of Teeth, and Ónix Ensemble. We’re excited to commission his new work for our Stop, Look, and Listen! concert this February, inspired by the Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight exhibition. The piece will feature flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano. Our organization has supported 19 emerging composers and continues to shape the future of music.
