Do you remember a time when the things we wrote and things we read were HUMAN generated? haha Ai has really changed the game in a lot of ways.   But, when it comes to putting a touch of personalization on something, Humans still have the edge.   Come join us and the Wealthbox team Thursday 24th (tomorrow) to think about ways you can personalize your communication but also automate just enough to give you some leverage!

  • Our first conference ever! Thank you XYPN for the hard work bringing so many world-class folks together.

    🔨 Building CurrentClient

🕛 2025: Surrender. Intro to CurrentClient series. Part 5 of 5. Still with me? Thanks for reading. Part of me didn’t want to write this out until I ‘made it’. But I think thats the point of all of this, right? There is no ‘made it’. Start ups, are just one tough problem after another. You will have seasons of perceived stability… but think about it.. what is the goal of a business? You are trying to build a box that has some orderly and consistent function that you give $1 and it spits back $2. In a world that is naturally pulling things into chaos and disorder. So why do it? For me.. there is 1 thing that I have found this business has taught me, or I should say, forced me into deeper… Surrender. When you start to sense something you want so bad is slipping away, what is your natural reaction? Its to hold on tighter.. get a firmer grip.. bear down and smother it. This though, creates tension and scarcity. Your thoughts begin to collapse in on themselves and get smaller and smaller. You begin to focus on the littlest thing, thinking you can at least control that, but its trivial at best, just tinkering. Instead, and the point of all of this, is I have already “made it”. It’s the surrender in life that you actually want. That is when you can escape the judgement of others and yourself and just settle in and enjoy where you are at, what you are doing and who you are with. Maybe not where you thought this was all going right? haha. But this is probably the only outcome that anybody and everybody can achieve and will actually be the greatest victory. As I have leaned into the surrender during 2024 (doesn’t mean you don’t still keep working your butt off, im working more earnestly than ever before), its been incredible to see how things begin to naturally start aligning. You can have more abundant thoughts, that are ever expanding, to include more people, more ideas, more insights, more strength. And that leads us to why, as I said in part 1, I am more excited than ever about CurrentClient and 2025! Things have come together for me in ways I wouldn’t have imagined at the start of the year. Team, product insights, market opportunity. And I have my north star: - Build mission critical software - that people love so much - that they will put you in their phone dock - and be the last bill they would want to give up. CurrentClient will be the best phone app a financial advisor could pick up and use. It’s audacious and a hard app to build. But this needs to exist and we are set on building it. Not a phone for tire shops, car dealerships, jewelry stores, sales people. Those are out there... But a phone for financial advisors, that knows their CRM, their compliance requirements, their back office workflows and can do more than just make a call, and send a text, but is a high utility tool that nudges them into greater relationships with clients. That is our stake in the ground and we are going for it. - dustin oct 11 2024 3:33 pm
