Today is Giving Tuesday and you CAN make a difference! Help us reach our goal and continue the important work we are doing at CAN-NC. Every donation means so much to our organization! Testimonial from board emeritus Nancy Lenk ~ "Over the years, I have seen our organization grow and offer more and more creative opportunities for aging adults as well as intergenerational programs. Our new project working with students from UNCG to create an interactive sculpture garden on the CAN-NC property is very exciting and unique. The fact that all people are welcome at our Campus and that we also work closely with some of the refugee and immigrant communities makes CAN-NC a unique place." Testimonial from our Board Chair ~ The decision to join Creative Aging Network-NC, a non-profit which is dedicated to supporting the aging community through the arts has been one of the most fulfilling decisions of my life. I was inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, many of whom often feel isolated or overlooked. Through creative expression, this organization fosters connection, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose for those we serve. I’ve witnessed firsthand how the arts can break barriers, inspire confidence, and bring smiles to faces that may not have smiled in years. Being part of this mission has not only allowed me to give back but has also enriched my own life in ways I never imagined. It’s a privilege to be part of a community that values creativity, compassion, and inclusion." ~ Chris Babcock As we approach #GivingTuesday on December 3rd, please consider us in your gift giving and help support us in our mission of improving the health of all people who identify as aging. Thank you for your support! https://can-nc.org/donate
