As a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic hailing from the beautiful Ridgecrest, California, he brings a unique mix of expertise and enthusiasm to our operations. Beyond his impressive mechanical skills, Robert is a true adventurer at heart. A passionate Jeep enthusiast, he loves nothing more than hitting the trails and diving into the great outdoors. Whether it's navigating rough terrains or exploring serene landscapes, Robert thrives on adventure and seeks out new experiences whenever he can. His trusty companion for many of these escapades is his beloved dog, Daisy, who keeps him company through thick and thin. Robert is not just a skilled mechanic; he is a jack of all trades! His knack for fixing anything that breaks while on his adventures showcases his resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities. Shinning the spotlight on another valued veteran, please join us in celebrating Michael Brust, Billing Manager at Copper River Shared Services and U.S. Army veteran. Since joining Copper River in 2019, Michael has shown incredible dedication to both his family and community. He and his wife, Melissa, are celebrating 25 years of marriage, and his sons are achieving great milestones in their education and careers. Michael is passionate about supporting fellow veterans through a Maryland-based Veterans Support group, helping them heal from PTSD. He’s also deeply involved in his local church, serving in various ministries and participating in mission trips to Zambia and Romania. His leadership philosophy? "Unity is key. I lead by example and support my team, ensuring that everyone knows the value of their role." We are proud to have Michael as part of our team! In this edition of #VeteranEmployeeSpotlight, we’re excited to highlight John Elstrom, MBA! A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, John serves as a Program Manager at TACG, LLC and calls beautiful Pennsylvania home. He’s been part of our Family of Companies for four years. One of his standout memories at work was a leadership retreat in Florida, where he went pier fishing and caught his first SHARK 🦈alongside our former TACG president, Todd Vikan! John is passionate about giving back by coaching and mentoring transitioning Veterans as they enter the business world, and he actively participates in his local homeowners association. He loves to travel ✈️, hike 🥾, explore acclaimed restaurants 🍽️off the beaten path, enjoy food-truck festivals, and grill 👨🍳 in the backyard. A devoted 'Black and Gold' fan, John’s family holds season tickets to the Pirates games ⚾!
