For 75 years our commitment to exceeding our customers’ expectations through providing superior service, building long-term relationships, and supporting our communities has allowed us to expand from the single lumberyard in Concord, MA, to over ten storefronts in Eastern Massachusetts. As we’ve grown each of our divisions has operated under its own name, we’ve decided that the best path forward for our company’s continued growth and commitment to excellence is through unity. oncord Lumber and Littleton Lumber will be named Concord Lumber & Building Center, The Kitchen Works will become Concord Kitchen & Design Center, Forester Moulding & Millwork will be called Concord Millwork & Design Center. ColorWorks Paint & Decorating Centers will transition to Concord Paint & Design Centers eventually but are not making any changes at this current time. Concord Building & Design Center was founded in 1946 as Concord Lumber Corporation, an employee-owned lumberyard committed to delivering high-quality lumber and home improvement products to homeowners and building professionals. Over the years our company has expanded to operate four different divisions; Concord Lumber & Building Center with locations in Concord, and Littleton, MA, Concord Kitchen & Design Center, a showroom staffed with expert designers in Acton, MA, Concord Millwork & Designer Center in Littleton, MA and ColorWorks Paint & Decorating Centers with 9 locations throughout eastern MA, including two departments within our lumberyards. We serve eastern and central Massachusetts, Rhode Island, southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and eastern Connecticut.
