  • "Building a body your future self will thank you for" doesn't happen by accident. It's great to set the intention… But the real "magic" happens when you take consistent action. For example: ✅ "Prepping healthy meals for the week" instead of "relying on takeout when you're tired" ✅ "Scheduling workouts like important meetings" rather than "hoping you'll find time for exercise" ✅ "Prioritizing sleep and recovery" instead of "pushing yourself to exhaustion" I remember when I “set out to start doing online coaching”... I knew I wanted to “help more people get healthy so they didn’t have to go through the same chronic health issues I did for years” — but I needed to learn how to increase my reach through social media and I spent far more time thinking about it than DOING it. Finally, I “started with just ONE post on my Facebook page letting people know that this was the path I was taking” ... And now? “I get to help people change their lives every single day.” So remember, every small action adds up! As we jump into 2025, what’s one small change you’re making towards your goals? "2025 for me is the year of VIDEOS! I will embrace the fact more people will stop and pay attention to my content if I create more videos. So as much as I struggle with that, I'm going to be doing it a lot more!" “Share one small change of your own down below and let's hold each other accountable! 👇”

  • Here’s another important tip to keep in mind👇 When you’re trying to get active again in your 40's or 50's, it’s not just about your food choices or your workouts — it’s also about managing your stress and getting rid of your limiting beliefs around what’s possible for you at your age. By addressing both, you’ll see progress even faster! For example, when I work with clients, we also focus on: ✅ Managing stress levels through daily habits like deep breathing, meditation, or even short walks, which play a huge role in gut health ✅ Prioritizing sleep, since quality rest helps support digestion and overall recovery ✅ Identifying and addressing food sensitivities—this way, they know exactly which foods to avoid without unnecessary restrictions It’s all part of the equation! Did you need to hear this today? If you’re in your 40's and 50's and you're looking to improve your health without giving up your favorite foods, follow me for more tips like these!

  • Here’s why you need to know these numbers ⬇️ Even if your goal is to build healthy habits or get back into fitness, these numbers play a giant role in your success. Why? Because these numbers give you a clear picture of what's happening inside your body. You can’t always rely on how you feel to know if things are moving in the right direction! For example, I get my numbers checked every year, although it would be even better to do it every 6 months because it helps me stay proactive about my health and make sure my habits are supporting my long-term goals. It’s a simple step that gives me peace of mind and keeps me on track. Still, only 20% of adults know their numbers… So if you haven’t checked lately, consider making an appointment this week to start the process... If this post was a helpful reminder, please share it with someone you care about!

  • Ever let perfectionism get in your way of starting something new? 🙋♀️ When it comes to “getting back into shape” or “improving your nutrition”, it’s easy to get caught up in overthinking. You see tons of tips on social media… You hear lots of different advice from friends and family… And if you’re not careful, you can end up stuck, waiting for the “perfect” time or plan to begin. But here’s the thing… Consider that you just need to START. My clients always tell me they wish they had started sooner. Even small steps like "going for a 10-minute walk" or "swapping one processed snack for a whole food option" can create a ripple effect of progress over time! Time will pass anyway… So, what’s the one small step you can take TODAY? Tell me in the comments! PS. If you’re a busy professional who wants to start prioritizing fitness again, follow me for more tips and "inspo" like this!

  • Are you letting your past determine your future? Studies have shown that MOST of our core belief systems and limiting beliefs are established by the age of seven… Which means if we don’t question those belief systems, we end up living out stories that no longer serve us. When it comes to goal - ex. “improving your health” or “building strength in your 40s and 50's”, those old beliefs might be telling you things like “it’s too late to make a change” or “you’ve tried before, and it didn’t work” or “eating carbs will make you fat”... Just because you’ve thought those things before, or you were exposed to them at some point during your life… that doesn’t mean they are true. And the beautiful thing is that you CAN rewrite those beliefs. I’ve seen so many clients / myself go from “feeling like they were stuck in a cycle of yo-yo dieting and frustration” to “learning how to trust their bodies and build sustainable, healthy habits that last”... And I wholeheartedly believe you can too. I have seen it over and over again for the last 30 years!!! It starts by questioning the beliefs that have been holding you back, and DECIDING to believe something new. So… What belief are YOU ready to let go of today? Let’s talk about it in the comments below and start rewriting your story!

  • Need a quick reboot to get back on track? ⤵️ ⤵️ ⤵️ Over the years, I’ve realized that busy seasons like this call for a little extra support. In my case, I like to talk about how you can navigate the holidays “plan your meals and workout schedule days ahead of time so you can get a workout in and make sure I’ve got healthy food in the fridge”. But it's not always easy... If you’re working on goal “trying to stay active” or you “want to keep the weight from packing on throughout the holidays” but find yourself needing some guidance and structure right now… Try incorporating these 7 daily habits for a few weeks and see how you feel. If you want to print out this list and keep yourself on track, comment the word “REBOOT” and I’ll give you my printable Healthy Habits Checklist for free!
