As this year comes to a close, please consider sending in a year-end gift so that we can finish this year strong. https://lnkd.in/gs4RQma We need your support now more than ever as we navigate this upcoming year as the landscape around us changes. Your steadfast support has allowed us to continue our compassionate care for this community through highs and lows, wars, and changing public priorities for more than a century. It is truly inspiring! We wanted to leave you in these last few days of 2024 with a few words of appreciation — from the people we serve. “I've been chronically homeless for 10+ years. I was housed in "Otto's Place" in Compass Housing. In the 8 months that I was housed there, my case manager, Madison Mullins, and program manager, Anthony Holley, were diligent and successful to get me permanent housing with the grace and mercy of God.” -Brian - 5-Star Review “A kickback place. Get your mail here, shower, wash clothes, charge your devices, and EAT. Shout-out to the staff cause they do really care. And they DO HELP!” -Luca - 5-Star Review “I experienced great growth here at Compass Housing Alliance. I’d like to say thanks to all the people that work there.” -James - 5-Star Review

Loving this collab! 🙌 So cool to see our friends at One Roof Foundation and Climate Pledge Arena bringing star power to support local kids. Even better - some of our Compass families have little ones at this school! Small world, big impact.
Inspired by Billie Eilish's dedication to climate action, we worked with One Roof Foundation to create a lasting impact in Seattle ahead of her shows at Climate Pledge Arena 🌎 This fall, we funded three new water fountains and filling stations at Lowell Elementary School—where nearly 30% of students are unhoused. Additionally, we provided 700 reusable bottles to students and staff. Prior to this, the school's only reliable source of potable water was in the bathrooms; thanks to this initiative, we’ve transformed that reality. After installing the fountains, we hosted their 5th-grade class at the arena for a field trip focused on sustainability, sparking ideas in the next generation of change-makers. As a gesture of gratitude, the students performed their version of Ocean Eyes, created a thank-you card book, and the school has installed a plaque to commemorate this contribution. Together, we’re building a brighter, greener future 💚 Oak View Group | Seattle Public Schools

Compass Housing Alliance would like to thank Gesa Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Gesa Credit Union, for selecting Compass Housing Alliance as a recipient of their Local Hero's Grant to support the Shoreline Veterans Center. Shree Vigil, program manager at Shoreline Veterans Center, said, "We are so grateful for our community partners like Gesa Community Foundation / Gesa Credit Union for their generosity, which allows us to create an enriched community allowing those who have been disenfranchised to have a place they can call home." Shoreline Veterans Center serves 24 Veterans with disabilities who have experienced homelessness, providing a safe home and supportive community. “Gesa is deeply honored to support the local heroes who make such a lasting impact in our community every year,” said Brandon Allison, AVP of Training, Education, and Community Relations at Gesa Credit Union. “The amazing work Compass Housing Alliance does not only helps build a stronger community but serves as an inspiration to all of us."
