First Grid Collective session: Done. ✅ We kicked it off with a look at how Community Power can drive Energy Transition. Why does it matter? Traditional Net-Zero solutions prioritize high-margin areas but overlook broader populations. To advance local carbon reduction efforts - such as energy grid optimization ⚡ and renewable energy adoption 🌱- we need efficient and inclusive P2P infrastructure. Community-powered networks, leveraging Web3 and AI, are making it happen. Here’s a quick recap with impressions from our session. 👉 Follow our page (and hit the 🔔) to stay updated on the next one!

  • 🤓 Did you know that up to 89% of household electricity could be self-produced in the future? Consumers become #PROsumers!⚡️ This changes everything! No more shipping electrons over hundreds of kilometers—we'll trade directly with our neighbors. 🤝 We're talking trillions of dollars in annual revenues shifting from big energy to US! The key to unlocking this future? A communication infrastructure that lets our energy devices transact directly and autonomously. Let’s be real—no one wants to call their neighbor daily to ask if it’s a good time to run the laundry! 🧺 #Combinder is exactly this missing link to enable THE RISE OF THE PROSUMER, and we're super proud to have you guys on board for what might become the biggest economic plate shift since the internet! 🙌🌍🚀

Live from Singapore --- 🚀 Crazy Rich DePINers! One of the things I noticed at this year's TOKEN2049 was the number of 🌐 DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) booths! So I wrote about it in Forbes and it will BLOW you away! DePIN is revolutionizing how we use our devices. Imagine turning everyday gadgets into income-generating machines! 💰 Here’s the buzz from Token 2049 in Singapore, where DePIN took center stage. 🔑 5 Players Leading the DePIN Movement Filecoin Labs: 🗄️ Decentralized Storage Powerhouse A giant in DePIN, Filecoin lets you rent out your extra storage for $FIL crypto. Valued at $4.2 billion, it's the go-to for decentralized storage, especially for data-heavy sectors like AI. 📈 Silencio: 🔊 Battling Noise Pollution Silencio pays users for sharing noise pollution data through their smartphones. 📱 With 308,000+ active users contributing to a massive dataset, they’re proving you can earn from your data. 💸 MapMetrics: 🗺️ Drive-to-Earn Navigation MapMetrics is a crypto-powered GPS alternative. 🚗 It rewards users for sharing navigation data, providing transparency and value in return. 🫡 Reporting back from #Singapore This trip was absolutely worth it! #Token2049 drew over 20k participants, and Combinder had prime visibility at the peaq booth, located right next to the main stage entrance. Hundreds of visitors tested our beta app and shared incredible feedback. While the main event was buzzing, it was the side events throughout the week that truly blew me away. Hands down, they were the best I’ve ever experienced at any similar event. From classic founder/funder breakfasts and VC speed-dating at stunning rooftop bars, to early morning group runs (with an ice bath!)—these side events showcased a community that values independence, creativity, and unconventional solutions. It was at these offsite locations where I pitched Combinder to over twenty top-tier VCs from the US, Asia, and Europe—18 of whom are eager to take a deeper dive into the project. We’re well on track to successfully close our pre-seed round in the coming weeks. The buzz around projects like Daylight Energy and Fuse helped spark even more interest in Combinder, making Energy #DePIN one of the hot topics at Token2049. All in all, it was an exciting and highly impactful event with great return potential!
