Nomadic Living, Unbound Adventures, and a Mindset for the Infinite Journey

About us

Welcome to the Colletta & Co LinkedIn page! We're not your typical business or group, but rather a family embarking on a unique and fulfilling journey. Our goal is to inspire others by sharing our experiences and insights on embracing a nomadic lifestyle, prioritizing experiences over material possessions, and nurturing a growth mindset. As we navigate through this adventure called life, we believe that the key to happiness lies in cherishing the moments, exploring new horizons, and continuously learning from the world around us. Our family has chosen to break free from the conventional 9-to-5 life, opting instead to travel, work remotely, and home-school our children, all while seeking out the most enriching experiences this incredible world has to offer. On this and our other social channels, you'll find stories of our adventures, practical tips on remote work, homeschooling, and minimalist living, as well as reflections on the lessons we've learned along the way. We're passionate about sharing our experiences in hopes of inspiring others to think outside the box, challenge societal norms, and embrace the endless possibilities that come with a nomadic lifestyle. Join us on this exciting journey as we explore new destinations, cultivate meaningful relationships, and unlock the true potential of a life well-lived. Together, we'll redefine success, happiness, and personal growth. So, let's embark on this adventure and see where the open road takes us! 👉🏻 Follow us on your favorite social network @collettaandco

  • "I think you would give me everything you own in 25 years time to be the age you are now and as healthy as you are right now. And I think it's a really interesting meditation to think about. If you had a time machine, if you were 30 years in the future, if you could be this healthy and feel this good and be this age you’d give everything materially that you own in 30 years time to be back here. So I think that we suffer in the west a little bit from life dysmorphia. You hear a lot about body dysmorphia or gender dysmorphia. We've got life dysmorphia. A lot of people think their life is terrible because there's kind of the hedonic treadmill. You get used to how great your life is. No one had a hot shower until 50 years ago! No one that you admire from 100 years ago had this simple pleasure in life. And when you look at the world that we live in, we're like, "You're doing." There's been 100 billion people ever. Right? We are in the top, top percentile in terms of the luck that we have had. The lives like the calorific intake that we just take for granted, the fact that our children don't die in the first year, the modern medicine and our lives and the entertainment that we get, we're living like kings. And yet life has never been objectively better and subjectively worse." — #JimmyCarr of Netflix's #NaturalBornKiller 💡Found this snippet on Instagram, but you can and should watch the full interview with Steven Bartlett on The Diary Of A CEO! #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness #MensHealth #Depression #Reflection #SelfExpression #OvercomingAnxiety #LifeLessons #PersonalGrowth

  • After months of balancing work and homeschooling, we decided it was time for a true vacation! We're on a mission to complete our exploration of the United States this year, heading to #Alaska by way of #Maine 😅 and ticking off any other missing states in the process. Despite a brief weather delay in #Kansas, we pushed forward with our plan, leading to a beautiful whirlwind of experiences that remind us why we chose this nomadic lifestyle. 🌍 Highlights of Our Week: • Gateway Arch National Park: A marvel of engineering and a symbol of westward expansion. • Mammoth Cave National Park: Venturing into the world’s longest known cave system and marveling at its underground wonders. • Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Reconnecting with nature and breathing in the fresh mountain air. • New River Gorge National Park: Exploring one of the newest national parks in the U.S. • Harvest Hosts Stays: Unique overnight stays with amazing attractions like Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium and stunning views (with Highland Cows!) at #CrescentHillHighlands • Live Music at #TheRow in #Nashville: Immersing ourselves in the vibrant local culture and singing the night away! 🎤 Along the way, we savored classic road trip pleasures like stargazing under vast night skies, making new friends across the country, and indulging in local food and music scenes. How do we seamlessly transition back to our routine without the travel hangover? Well, it helps when you bring your home everywhere you go! 😁 But our lifestyle also proves that an object in motion stays in motion. Whether we’re blasting through six states or settling back into work-life balance as we pause in Washington, D.C. 🏛️ and NYC 🗽 for the next two weeks, we try to dive into every adventure and soak up every experience! How do you live your best life and strike that elusive balance between the demands and pleasures of today and tomorrow?
