About us
For over 100 years residents of the Carpinteria Valley have looked to a locally based network of communication built strong by Carpinteria news publications. Coastal View News (est. 1994), now in its 28th year, is the newspaper of record for the Carpinteria Valley and continues the community connection serving a loyal readership weekly. Since its inception, CVN has received over 50 national achievement industry awards from the Association of Free Community Publications (AFCP) including: Outstanding Publication 2004, Best of Show for five years.
