This week, we celebrate Law Enforcement Records & Support Personnel Appreciation Week! These employees, typically behind the scenes, provide crucial services to both our staff, and the community we serve. Today, we recognize and thank our Records staff! In addition to processing every report, citation, and document from staff, they also complete hundreds of records checks and other requests on a monthly basis. This week, we celebrate Law Enforcement Records & Support Personnel Appreciation Week! These employees, typically behind the scenes, provide crucial services to both our staff, and the community we serve. Today, we recognize and thank our employees in Property & Evidence! These 3 employees process the intake of 7,500 items per year, some as small as a human hair, others as big as a moving truck. Another 7,500 items are destroyed annually to make room for new evidence after cases have been adjudicated. These items include an average of 150 firearms and 100 pounds of illegal drugs annually. In addition, they coordinate with multiple forensic labs to have over 1,000 items tested annually. 📸: Property & Evidence employees.

This week, we celebrate Law Enforcement Records & Support Personnel Appreciation Week! These employees, typically behind the scenes, provide crucial services to both our staff, and the community we serve. Today, we recognize and thank our technology team! These 5 employees steer our entire department’s technology needs, they’re fantastic at it, and they’re on call 24/7/365. Our Digital Forensic Analyst specializes in computer, online, and mobile forensics while finding what you thought you deleted. Information Technology in our department is handled by 2 employees! They help and support almost 100 software applications used by over 300 users, and over 350 devices. Finally, our 2 Senior Systems Video Analysts perform all deployments, maintenance and video management of the 500+ cameras and the Public Safety Radio Network for our city. This includes management of over 2 Petabytes of video storage, with a growing list of additional camera locations as Clovis grows. 📸: Our police employees serving in their technology roles.
