As we head into next year I just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to a huge year for Clear Skies Energy Ltd, we've gone from strength to strength this year and enter 2025 with order book already full into May! As well as solving the heating woes of many a client, this year has seen a huge increase in turnover, installations and happy customers. We've become Fgas registered (something i've wanted to do for years!) and jumped on the Heat Geek platform. None of this would happen though without our great clients, suppliers and partners who enable us to be successful and carry on doing what we love, installing high quality, high efficiency heating systems. A huge thanks goes to Duftons Plumbing & Heating Supplies, Luke Clarkson, Daniel Frost, CRAVEN ENERGIES LIMITED, STIEBEL ELTRON UK LTD, Oliver Gledhill, Ian Milner, James Moran, Andy Noad, Craig Brooke. Another big thanks to Zero Carbon Harrogate's team, Marcus Wearmouth, Miranda Rickard, Rethink Retrofit, WT Hall Builders, Steve Hall who are positive influences in the area and great advocates for us, but a special thanks to Jamie Walker who has done the Lion's share of the graft the past six months. Our current #ecohouse #build we are currently doing in #Harrogate. This is a build we have taken on halfway through the build. Due to problems with the previous contractor not fully understanding the build process of passivehaus principles and the loss of a architect. After 5 months of going backwards. W T hall builders have designed the rest of the build and we are now project managing and We are now full steam ahead. This is a #limescreed floor with 350mm of #glapor insulation so it is fully breathable with a new #Underfloorheating system with Air source heat pump. Progress pictures from this week's install, an Air source heat pump install for Mr STIEBEL ELTRON UK LTD himself, Oliver Gledhill. This project consisted of the removal of a boiler, moving a consumer unit and installation of a WPL07 ACS Premium and 300l cylinder. Running a house with young adults and PV meant he needed a big cylinder to utilise all that energy, this was a very tight installation as can be seen from the photos. The whole team pulled together including CRAVEN ENERGIES LIMITED, Jamie Walker, Jason Perry to get this project complete in under three days. Intatec heat pump filter, Primary Pro - Smartovations Ltd insulation and Altecnic expansion vessels were used, supplied by Luke Clarkson and Daniel Frost from Duftons Plumbing & Heating Supplies Harrogate. Its safe to say this project kept throwing up unexpected challenges and we were rewarded with Pizza and a visit from Ian Milner on completion. If anyone was wondering why its muddy, the sparky received a little spray from the D2 pipe before completion.
