Meet Luis Fuentes – founder and owner of Cafe Avanti, an Italian restaurant located at 732 W 41 Street. After moving to the United States from Cuba, Luis opened his restaurant in Miami Beach in 1989. Over the past 35 years, Luis has embraced the Miami Beach community and says his customers are some of the best and most loyal in the world. As we continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re so happy to have people like Luis as part of the fabric of our city.
