The #CityOfMilton had the privilege of hosting the Pipe Installation Practices Education (PIPE) course this week, which was put on by the American Concrete Pipe Association. This training brought together dozens of local government employees, contractors, and industry professionals to enhance our understanding of best practices in pipe installation and inspection. Participants, including members from Milton’s Community Development and Public Works teams, engaged in hands-on #learning about key pipe attributes, trench excavation, and installation techniques. Investing in training like this is crucial for maintaining our #infrastructure and ensuring our communities thrive. His recent hands-on involvement in the World Health Organization Emergency Medical Teams Initiative's Global Meeting exemplifies this. This event convened emergency medical professionals (including members of the City of Milton Fire Department) from various continents in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
