Since opening my studio in the South Bay, I've met many new friends, trades and fellow business owners, so I thought I would re-introduce myself... Hey there, I'm Genevieve Trousdale, an interior designer raised in Louisiana, schooled in Georgia (go Dawgs), living all over Los Angeles for the past near 20 years, now located in Manhattan Beach, California. My love for interior design was influenced by two generations of discerning familial role models with exquisite taste. I've traveled to cities, states and other continents turning client dreams (and my own career dreams) into reality with sophistication, whimsy and a seasoned eye for detail. Whether it's sourcing unique pieces or juggling a thousand details at once, I'm intrinsically passionate for making your space uniquely yours. I love working with families in SoCal and my local community, creating interiors that feel just right for them. 4 years ago, I founded Circaphiles, a network for designers anywhere and of all levels to easily find resources, connect and learn the business and the trade, together. These "feathers in my hat" have allowed me the honor of a seat on the Institute of Classical Art & Architecture events committee, where we produce prolific educational programs focused on decorative arts, architecture and classical landmarks. Something you might not know about our Southern Hospitality in New Orleans, LA, is that we were tasked with incorporating a large amount of the family's heirloom antiques, bespoke additions, and budget-friendly pieces into every charming corner of this home.
