Service to others is a core value at CIONIC. We are both humbled and energized at the opportunity to broaden the availability of the Neural Sleeve across the VHA through our partnership with LOVELL® Government Services.

On average, workers with disabilities earn 12% less than their non-disabled counterparts. Approximately 9% of that gap cannot be explained due to differences in education, age, or the type of work. At CIONIC, we are committed to improving access to the workforce and raising awareness about the barriers workers with disabilities continue to face.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and we're honored to be featured with Regina "Gina" Kline and Enable Ventures in Real Leaders magazine. #NDEAM provides an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of individuals with disabilities in the workforce and the challenges they continue to face—including the disability wealth gap. Understanding the facts surrounding disability employment and the barriers that exist is crucial for creating a more inclusive and equitable workforce. And as Regina "Gina" Kline mentions, "The largest untapped talent pool hiding in plain sight is people with disabilities who have the opportunity to generate great value in the labor force."
