We partnered with UC Osher Center for Integrative Health to launch Cincinnati Parks for Wellness, a transformative program that prescribes time in nature for better health.💚 Did you know spending just two hours a week outdoors can lower blood pressure, ease anxiety, and improve overall well-being? With most Cincinnatians living within a 10-minute walk of a park, this program empowers our community to embrace the healing power of nature through mindful walks and fun outdoor activities. A thunderous round of applause for Rhubarb, our #CincyBarks WINNER and newest Cincinnati Parks pup ambassador! 🏆 Rhubarb’s heart belongs to Mt. Airy Forest, her favorite Cincinnati Park. She loves exploring the trails, stopping to sniff all the wonderful scents, and marveling at the beauty of the native flowers and towering trees. The iconic treehouse is her go-to spot. Fall and winter are Rhubarb’s favorite seasons to explore the park, where she might even spot a wild turkey or a deer on an early morning hike. Mt. Airy Forest offers endless adventure, and Rhubarb has made it her playground in every season. As our #CincyBarks champion, Rhubarb is now a proud Cincinnati Parks pup ambassador, helping us share the joy and beauty of our parks with pups and people alike. He adores walking the trails, soaking up the views and exploring every beautiful corner of his favorite park. Whether they’re soaking up the scenery or making new pals, Gervonta and Viper show us why Cincinnati Parks are the perfect place for pups and people alike. The #CincyBarks competition has officially wrapped up for the year, and our winner has been chosen! But before we announce the top dog, we want to take a moment to spotlight Hank. Hank may not have taken the crown, but he’s got Board approval!
