My mom worked hard to give me opportunities. I inherited some of her determination. When I put my mind to something, I go all out. Lenox Hill Neighborhood House helped me channel this mindset. I got involved with the organization very young. Those relationships and skills I've gotten from there will take me far in life. Miracle Day is an event hosted by CIBC that helps support Lenox Hill. When I was 8 years old, I met NFL player Curtis Martin at the event. We still talk. He is such an inspiration. Over the years, he has constantly encouraged me to never give up—even after a big loss. Their dreams for me were rooted in education. They were thrilled when I got into Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. It is a small school with dedicated teachers. The connections I made helped me land internships and build a network. Now, I'm in my senior year at Georgetown University, pursuing a path in investment banking.”
